dates. Please note not all newspapers support multiple insertions.

No, the cost
of every ad depends upon the newspaper you are choosing. Every newspaper
have there different tariff calculation criteria. Some newspapers
calculate the ad cost on word basis, some newspapers calculate the
ad cost on line basis and some on per column centimeter.

The cost of Advertisement depends upon the newspapers you are choosing.
Every newspaper have there own criteria of calculating the ad cost.
Every newspapers calculate the cost on different basis like on word/character/line/per
column centimeter basis.

What is
a Box Reply?
If you wish your identity to be a secret, then you can opt for a
Box Reply. Newspaper allocates a unique 'Box number' automatically to your classified
ad and the Box Number is part of your ad. The Box number (which includes the newspaper address also) automatically becomes part of your advertisement.Check Sample
Ad.
Alongwith your classified ad you have
to submit your 'Contact Address' known as Box Reply Address. This Box Reply Address is not part of your Advertisement, but is the address where the responses to your advertisement is forwarded by the newspaper.The additional cost for the box reply is automatically included in the advertisement cost
(On our web site, while placing the
ad, if you select Box Replies (step 2), then we prompt you for the
Box Reply address on step 4. You need not type your Box Reply Address
in your Classified content. The Box number is automatically)
All the responses then come to this
Box number. Newspapers sends all your responses as normal mail/Courier to your Box Reply Address.
The Box number is normally valid only for 15 days to 1 month. The responses are forwarded to your Contact Address/Box Reply address after the stipulated time frame of 15-30 days.
You have 2 options. Either get your responses to a local address (within India) or to an International
address. There is a nominal fee applicable by the newspaper for
the service.
In cases where you place multiple
insertions of ad, then the Box Reply is valid for 15 days to 1 month
from the last date of your ad.

Normal Broadsheet newspapers contain 8 to 10 columns and height
52 cms while tabloid newspapers contain 4 to 5 columns and height

What is the difference
between Format or display of ads?
There are different formats for the ads. Bold Classifieds Click

Bold Classified
all the letters will be caps and will be bold.
Standard/Normal
Classified ad had different formats in different newspapers example
like in times first letter will be in caps and bold and the following
matter will be normal. And in midday only the first letter will
be bold and following letters will be normal.
Tick mark Classified
will have a tickmark before the matter starts.
EyeCatcher Classified
will have a hand indicating to the matter.
Display Classified
will have one line or some cms of text in Reverse (background black
and text white).The size of reverse text varies from newspaper to
newspaper. Some newspaper have there fix size of reverse text like
in The Times of India the size of reverse text is max. 1 cm.

any newspaper. You can do this using your computer and the Internet.

So how does it work?
Once you have registered at our site you will be able to select
from several publications in which you wish to publish your ads.
You can then create your classified and select from different schemes
that the newspaper has to offer.
Further you can get a complete estimation of your charges for your
classified in any hard currency.
On entering and selecting the print media your Order Status will be
updated periodically as the order flows from our offices into the
publication in question.
You may mail us your payment in either Demand Draft or Bankers Checks
before the end of the dead line date or else the classified will be
cancelled.

How does IndiaClassifieds.com place my advertisement with the newspaper?
- We
receive your advertisement (Classified Text or Classified Display or Normal
Display ads) placed by you.
- We
await the required documents, if any, via fax or email. For example,
employment ads, change of name ads, etc document proofs are needed.
- For
payment mode other than credit card, we await payment.
- As
soon as we receive confirmation of payment (for credit card payment it is
immediate), we make a 'Release Order' for the concerned newspaper, with your
ad details like date of publication, ad content, category etc. A 'Release
Order' is mandatory for every newspaper. Along with the 'Release Order' the ad
payment is submitted.
- Once
the 'Release Order' is submitted to the newspapers head office or branch
office (we are based in Mumbai, India), it is their responsibility to send the
details to other cities (if the ad is for other cities).
- The
advertisement gets published as per the schedule dates.

It is impossible to get
physical copies of all newspapers in our office every day (we cover more
than 150 publications and 60 cities).
Because of the logistics issues, we do not
normally send the ad 'copy' or 'cutting' to you and do not track the ads
submitted to the newspaper. We plan to start an ad
Confirmation service in the future at an additional cost. UNTIL THEN WE
REQUEST YOU TO TRACK YOUR ADS (THROUGH FRIENDS OR RELATIVES) OR AWAIT RESPONSE
WITHIN A FEW DAYS OF PUBLICATION.

What steps does Indiaclassifieds.com take in case the Ad is Missing/ Not published?
First of all you must understand how the newspapers send us the confirmation
of the ad been published:
- They DO NOT 'send intimation' or 'cutting' or 'copy' of the ad
published.
- Unlike other countries, they do not have an Electronic method to confirm
the ads been published. All tracking is done manually, within newspaper
offices or by the advertisers.
- They do not inform the status of the ad on phone.
- Our office person has to physically visit the newspaper office with the ad
details and scan through the newspapers to confirm publishing of the ad. It
is a funny situation. Even though they have copies of the newspapers, the
newspapers expect us or any advertiser to physically verify from the
newspaper (either visit them or purchase a copy of the newspaper locally.
The reason being that they receive too many ads every day and it is not
possible to appoint staff to send ad confirmation or verify on phone).
- If the ad is published outside Bombay say Delhi, then it takes at least
2-3 days for Delhi newspaper copy to be available in Bombay office. This is
true for all publications.
It is impossible to get physical copies of all newspapers in our office every
day (we cover more than 150 publications and 60 cities).

'Cutting' to you and do not track the ads submitted to the newspaper. We
plan to start a Ad Response service in future at an additional cost. TILL SUCH
TIME WE REQUEST YOU TO TRACK YOUR ADS (THROUGH FRIENDS OR RELATIVES) OR AWAIT
RESPONSE FOR FEW DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF PUBLICATION.
Even though we submit the 'Release Order' with payment to the newspapers,
sometimes it happens that your Ad is not published.
In the event of a complaint from you about Missing Ad, we do the following:
- Our office person visits the newspaper office with the ad details and scan
through the newspapers to confirm publishing of the ad.
- If the ad is published outside Bombay say Delhi, then it takes at least
2-3 days for Delhi newspaper copy to be available in Bombay office. This is
true for all publications.
- Once it is confirmed that the ad is not published, we fax / submit a
complaint letter to the newspaper with the ad details.
- The newspaper also confirm that the ad was missed.
- We give them a fresh date to publish the ad
- Your ad is published.
